Tracking You by Kelly Moran is the second book in Ms. Moran's Redwood Ridge series. You do not need to have read the first book in the series to enjoy this one, especially if you love the friends to lover trope.

Flynn O'Grady is the middle brother, a vet, and deaf. Gabby Cossette is his vet technician and best friend. She is also the only person outside his family who treats him normally. He has always ignored his attraction towards her, not wanting to risk their friendship. However, when Gabby makes it clear to the rest of the town that she's looking for a relationship, he has to decide whether it's worth the risk - especially when he realizes just how important Gabby is to him. Gabby, for her part, isn't sure risking her work environment and friendship with Flynn is a good idea. But when attraction zings between them, can she really resist?

Kelly Moran delivers once again. Gabby and Flynn are perfect for each other and watching the two of them realize this is a fun ride. At the same time, their internal struggles as to whether a romantic relationship is worth it feels real and not just added to create conflict. I don't think I've read a book with a deaf hero or heroine before, but Ms. Moran seems to have handled it well. Any insecurities felt by Flynn because he is deaf seem logical, while at the same time there is no sense that Flynn is any less of a person for being deaf.

My complaints about the book are few. I would have liked to have seen more of the secondary characters. Redwood Ridge is a small town and in the first book of the series, Puppy Love, there was a definite sense of community. Surprisingly, there is less of that in this book. I did enjoy seeing more of Drake - the oldest brother - but many of the other secondary characters appear for brief scenes before disappearing into the ether. I also thought some of the conflicts were pointless and merely used to create more drama with very little pay off. Gabby's family is still in Redwood Ridge but barring some comments about her sister - who is the complete opposite of Gabby and with whom she has no relationship of which to speak - and one scene with her parents, they do not factor at all.

That is not to say that Flynn and Gabby exist in their own world - there are some delightful scenes between Gabby and Drake, Gabby and Zoe, Flynn and both his brothers, and Flynn and Hailey, who is Avery's daughter and was met in Puppy Love. But overall, there was less of a sense of community than in the previous book.

Tracking You is a delightful romantic comedy with characters that will charm you and a relationship that feels real and solid. You will have a hard time putting it down once you start. You may also gain a new standard of romance as Flynn not only says some of the most romantic lines I've read but also demonstrates some of the most romantic gestures I've seen. And Gabby? She's not too shabby either when it comes to showing her love for Flynn.

I think Tracking You was the sweetest story I read this year, I adored Flynn and Gabby and all of their animals and nosy friends <3 It had I everything I want in a romance novel and than some. Can't wait for Zoe and Drake <3
Gabby and Flynn have been best friends from a young age. Their mutual love of animals made them the perfect Veterinarian and Veterinarian Tech. They finally realize what everyone already knows, they are perfect for one another. It's a bumpy ride for them though.
This is the second of three books about the O'Grady brothers, all three veterinarians. This is Gaby and Flynn's story, filled with laughter, tears, and lots of emotion. Great characters - I feel like I've made new friends in the small town of Redwood Ridge, with both the people and their pets. I look forward to the third book!
I am absolutely falling in love with this series. And this author. I loved Puppy Love. I LOVED and adored Tracking you. I fell for Dr. Flynn O'Grady in his brother, Cade's book. I connected to him instantly then, with his hearing loss. I love that all 3 brother's are vets. I also love the friendship to lovers angle between Flynn and Gabby. My favorite trope. I just loved their relationship. From the first time they met in Kindergarten, and Gabby going home and insisting to her parents that they enroll her in sign language classes. So sweet. I can't wait to read Drake and Zoe's story next.
The last book I read I trashed it and gave it a one star. I said the sex was Edith Bunker on three glasses of wine trying to explain how a man's body works when he is aroused. The sexual scenes in this story are Maude saying to Archie, " Well, what did you expect, knuckle head!." They were wonderfully shown with proper adjectives. Not overly done, just the right amount to let us know all the feelings and workings of both bodies. It was fun reading about all the families involved.
I ordered two more books but the one I wanted about Drake isn't out until Sept.of this year.
I love reading about animals too, so I loved the whole book.
I also have a deficit in life. Part of my brain is damaged, the other part has taken over. It's something that isn't noticeable but makes me different in certain ways. I know how it feels to be dissimilar in a crowd.
What's not to love about Gabby and Flynn? These two were made for each other, even though they didn't know it. Growing up side by side since kindergarten, Gabby and Flynn always had an easy going relationship...they are best friends and co-workers. But now they are seeing each other in a different light. With the help of the Battleaxes ... they come to the realization that there is more than just friendship, but they are torn... they do not want to lose the friendship bond they already have.
What I like about this story is they are real...like people you would know in your own life.

Now, Gabby works as a vet tech for Flynn and his brother’s. She partnered with Flynn since they’ve always worked so well together. But feelings are growing between the pair and neither are sure what to do about. They’ve always kept each other in the friend zone and aren’t sure if they should take the risk.

What a wonderful book! I loved that Flynn wasn’t a perfectly “normal” guy being deaf. I really enjoyed this books and would definitely recommend reading it!
