First of all, let me say that I reluctantly bought this book. The title was an argument in itself. Secondly, did I really care to read a book about Rupert Murdoch? After listening to the author's, Ken Jarvis, blog talk radio show and hearing how passionate he is over the state of the union and especially Mr. Murdoch's influence, I decided to spend the 99 cents. Mr. Jarvis and I do not always agree on his political stances, but listening to his show and following him on Twitter and Facebook, is informative, to say the least. Why listen or read only the things I think I know, or think I agree with. There's always two sides to a story, and then that all important "middle". This book is quite well put together. The use of multimedia was excellent and well thought out. The facts that are outlined are usually accompanied by a link to an article or a video. So, if I was interested in or wanted further information about a particular subject, I could click on the link and gain that information. Those items which didn't interest me, I could skip and move onto the next thing. It makes the book either a quick read, or a plethora of information. The book shows a complete listing of Mr. Murdoch's holdings, which was surprising to say the least and very, very interesting. It's a fabulous digital book. Making it interactive makes the money I spent on my ipad more sensible. Since I didn't go into reading this book with any intentions of either believing and disbelieving the title, I definitely came away with a broader sense of how this title could be true. I appreciate the facts as related in this book, and also appreciate Mr. Jarvis' fundamental right to publish his thoughts and his beliefs.Product details

Not one real information. Written by a Murdoch hater. Time waste, useless, not worth 1 cent. Deleted. Michael Moore's Murdoch is a great book in comparison.
This is a powerful indictment of one man who has accrued the kind of power and influence which destroys democracies and exercises an autocratic rule from outside the formal realm of government. There is a wealth of information here which resulted from a massive amount of research on the part of the author.
